Im Sog - Hikikomori
Impressionen in 7 Bildern

The young man H lives a reclusive life in his room; he has moved back in with his mother. His mother, Kiki, tries in various ways to reach her son. H tries to communicate in his own way.

In seven images, we accompany Kiki, H, and his fantastic alter ego Jack on a poetic journey, caught in the current.

What happens when a person voluntarily disappears: from the noise of the city, from the family, from work, from the pressure, from the conversations, from the public eye, from the speed of the crowd?

In Japanese, people who completely withdraw from society are called Hikikomori. The same term is used for the phenomenon, which can be observed worldwide.
